Why Your Next Stay Should Be Hilton Orlando?
Close your eyes. Now imagine a chill of cold air entering your body even with layers of clothes on. Snow and icy roads with a hot cocoa in your hand. Now open your eyes and forget all of that. It's Florida baby! The weather and water are fine, come and enjoy the sun! I had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Orlando over the New Year's with my significant other and I am here to tell you why it should be your next stay.
Close To It ALL
Location, Location, Location! Disney, Universal, Seaworld, all the parks are a short distance from the hotel. If you're looking for a spot to quickly get in and out of, then this is the location for you. it's conveniently located right next to the beautiful Orlando convention center with plenty of parking to match. Now, while it is on I-drive one of the busiest areas in Orlando we had no issue of standing traffic even with it being the holidays. Plus, if you look at it as a glass half full approach I-drive has a plethora of food, clubs, bars, and fun places all right there. With your stay, you can receive trolley passes (2 a day) as a way to explore the town if you prefer not to drive. We stuck with Uber since we found a pretty good parking spot close to the elevators in the garage. You are paying for parking, you might as well leave it parked and find other ways of transportation.
Family Friendly With Endless Activities
I have learned to love family-friendly anything, especially when it comes to hotels. When hotels are able to provide conveniences for my family to make traveling with kids slightly less stressful it becomes an A plus in my book. I wasn't able to bring my girls with me this time since it was more of a baecation, but everywhere I went in the Hilton Orlando I would say "oh, the girls would love this or that" (Even when our kids aren't with us they are with us). First and foremost they have a lazy river! Anytime I am looking to stay somewhere I look for this bonus feature, it makes me excited every time. Not only do they have a lazy river but they also have a bigger pool with a waterslide, a splash zone area and if that wasn't enough and you want something a little bit more serene they have a quiet pool tucked away from all the noise. The hotel has a basketball court, tennis court, pool activities for the kids, cabana rentals and so much more. The only thing we were missing was time. We needed more days to enjoy all that the Hilton Orlando had to offer.
Array Of Food Options
Twenty Four hour marketplace, (sing it in your best Bruno Mars "24 Karat melody"). The Hilton Orlando Hotel is an overachiever. The hotel has not one, or two, but seven different dining experiences! I am all about the food so I was in option heaven with all the selections and choices. The market was our first stop, they had sandwiches, fresh pizza and sides made from scratch, G-E-L-A-T-O, and even a gift shop area. The Market was our go-to while staying at the Hilton because of the 24-hour convenience of it and all the goodness that came with it. The staff was friendly and welcoming and willing to answer any questions or requests we had. The next dining option we took advantage of was David's Club Bar & Grill. A lounge GastroPub. The atmosphere was great with multiple TV's and a balcony with a firepit to top it off. The bartenders were attentive and made a show out of their craft-making drinks. We spent the beginning of our New Year's Eve evening in the Pub before going to another location. Hilton Orlando also has In-room dining if you're looking to stay in. A Steakhouse option for an elegant night, The Bistro which is ideal for breakfast and lunch, The lobby bar for happy hour and shareable plates, and lastly, Tropics by the pool area so you never have to leave poolside. Plenty of options for the whole family without even leaving the hotel. (WebWithDunn Bonus* The hotel offers 15% off any dine-in experience at the hotel, excluding the pool area when you stay).
A Special Addition
None of the rooms that we noticed have balconies, and due to the nature of it being Orlando where there is a firework show every night. Having a balcony is usually very sought after. The neat thing about Hilton Orlando is that on every floor they have balconies that guest can access at the end of the hallway. Of course, each floor will give you a different perspective of Orlando but what a great addition to have. We were on the fourteenth floor and we were told when we checked we would be able to see fireworks from our floor balcony but every night we kept missing them. If you get a chance to visit Hilton Orlando maybe you will have better luck.
