The Tiny Treehouse Romantic Getaway You Need To Book In Orlando, Florida

Thank You To The Little TreeHouse Of Orlando, FL for hosting me. All opinions + reviews are mine on Webwithdunn

Looking for a hidden gem Airbnb like this one was a surprise find! Nestled away in a private cobblestone country club right off a major intersection you wouldn't think to look twice. We got spoiled to an incredible night here, complete with a cozy electric fireplace, fruits and snacks readily available, endless coffee and dreamy twinkling lights above our bed for us to drift off in abyss. This is the tiny treehouse romantic getaway- you didn't know you needed. Here is my review.

The Grounds

Driving into the neighboorhood feels like a small hometown with that old money feel and cobblestone roads throughout the streets. The natural vine covering the iron gates to enter the backyards and the vine growing on the bricks of each home with Oak trees hovering covered in Spanish moss, set the tone for you to feel the southern charm in the middle of city life. With two Airbnb treehouse bungalows to choose from you wouldn't know that it once was a carriage house. The hosts live on the property in their gorgeous antique home and to get to the treehouses you walk through their iron vine-covered gate into the backyard where the landscape is so lush with colorful plants and the greenery that mixes in. With chairs and a fire pit straight to the back of the property and a stone pathway that leads to a small pond, it will be hard for you to decide if you want to spend your time indoors or outdoors in the space the hosts created. They also have string patio lights on the outside that makes everything more magical if you arrive at night. A nice added touch of security is the sensor motion lights around the property and a light switch on the side of the stairs so you're able to come and go without the worry of trying to find your way in the dark. The Treehouse grounds outside are a great place to relax with a cup of coffee and breathe in the fresh air.

The Interiors

When you hear tiny treehouse you might think less space but in fact, it feels anything but small for persons of two. When booking your stay you will be able to choose the upper or lower treehouse unit based on availability. For my stay, we were in the upper unit which has more of a rustic-industrial charm versus the downstairs unit that has a woodland- modern feel both beautiful in their own way. The romantic treehouses both have units with a kitchen counter stocked with dishes, utensils, a sink, and a mini-fridge with a sweet added touch of some beverages stocked inside for your enjoyment. Fresh fruit is also set on the countertop for your morning continental breakfast and across from the kitchen in the treehouse unit we were in-- there stood a coffee bar fully loaded with an array of coffees and all the added finishings to get your morning off to a great start!

The treehouse below is laid out differently and everything is on a kitchen counter across from the bed. A microwave, iron board and even desk space all in the units to make your romantic getaway a place to remember. The bathrooms are just as special as the rest of the tiny treehouses. With one bathroom per unit, each has its own unique charm- my unit had a sliding wooden door with a footed bath that also had a shower attached and a pedestal sink. The other treehouse comes with a standing shower but with the wooden door and pedestal sink as well. The hosts make it easy to stay here the only hard part will be having to decide which romantic treehouse unit you want to book.

The Stay

We were greeted like family the moment we stepped onto the grounds with warm hugs

and smiles. The husband+wife duo Dave and Jean were so welcoming. They walked us through all the amenities available to us and how to work everything inside and outside the treehouse bungalow. We had mini mints and water waiting for our arrival on the bed as well as a few cold beverages in the fridge. Dave even gave us recommendations on what to eat that were close by, the hosts were available if needed but never bothersome. The property is centrally located making it that much easier to get around since this romantic tiny treehouse getaway is in the heart of downtown but still so excluded from the busy traffic and noise. No detail was missed inside, the bathroom was fully stocked with everything and even extra add-ons that hotels would have. From the mood lighting over the bed to the outside porch area with seating, the stay was a FIVE-star experience. A home away from home and we are ready to book again.
