Hilton Orlando| Your Next Family Stay
Thank You Hilton for hosting my families stay| All opinions + reviews are mine on Webwithdunn
The Hilton brand never disappoints in providing a comfortable and safe place to rest, along with a price that won’t break the bank. Located just 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport, its proximity to SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and the Aquatica Water Park, it's hard to say that Hilton Orlando is not conveniently located. The neighboring Orange County Convention Center makes the Resort Hotel a prime location for business travelers too. This resort caters well to both in making it family and business-friendly. You can have fun in the sun and also retreat to a quieter space if you need too. Hilton Orlando is a jack-of-all-trades and with the added combination of amenities, it makes this Hilton an ideal choice for families. When planning a trip to Orlando make Hilton Orlando your next family stay.
Jump Start Your Day with breakfast at Hilton Orlando's Bistro Restaurant, have a snack at Tropics Bar & Grill by the poolside. When you're finished soaking in the sun head to happy hour and lunch at David's Club Bar & Grill and finish the evening grabbing a freshly made pizza and Gelato ice cream in the 24-hour Scratch Market. With multiple options for dining, no one in the family will be disappointed.
The Bistro covers breakfast with a nice buffet (webwithdunn tip- be sure to choose a room that breakfast is already included). The Tropics Bar & Grill is located in the middle of all the outside pool action and a host will service your sitting area to take down food+drink orders so you can keep having fun. David's Club Bar & Grill has a sport like atmosphere with a simple American menu and is a good bet for the kids. Lastly, The Scratch Market is the hotel hotspot -open 24/7 with options for all. Fresh coffee any way you'd like it, creamy Gelato ice cream, homemade pizza, sandwiches, salads, etc the appeal of the marketplace will keep bringing you back.
Last but not least a dining option that is noted to be 5 stars --is no other than Spencer's for Steaks and Chops. This is one of Orlando's 10 best steakhouses, featuring steaks that have been aged for three to four weeks. The restaurant does not come cheap and keep in mind that throughout Hilton Orlando--kids menus are available at every restaurant but might be pressed to find something at this upscale steakhouse. I'd say keep this gem for a date night!
Dining has never been easier for families at Hilton Orlando. If you've had a long day at the pool the last thing you might want to do is go off-site. This Hilton keeps the inconvenience to a minimum and the convenience at large.
Hilton Orlando excels in keeping guests entertained and relaxed with the lazy river, the multiple pools (one reserved for adults), hot tubs, splash pads, and even a water slide. Spending all day outside would be an easy task. Six cabanas are available for a private, shaded and pampered setting. Cabanas included 37-inch, flat-screen TVs, small refrigerators, a table and loungers, ceiling fans, and privacy curtains.
Daily scheduled activities + games for kids are put on by the pool staff for even more family fun. Hilton Orlando also offers a tennis court with equipment rentals, basketball court, and volleyball court. If you choose to step away from the pool area to have a little more downtime then their onsite spa would be the next best thing and be sure to ask the spa staff because they can service children too if they're accompanied by an adult.
If the day activities didn't tire you or the kids out --Hilton Orlando offers complimentary Smores by the fire at night, they give you a smore package with all your needs and have multiple fire pits around the grounds at night for your enjoyment to end the night for some sticky-sweet fun. Your next family stay could be here!
The Room +Tips+ Our Stay
Our room was spacious in size for the four of us with two double beds, a mini-fridge, a shower (no tub), an office desk, and a view of the poolside below. The beds were comfy and pillows were fluffy. The room was nice but what stood out the most was the hospitality that we received. From the bell-hop who we kept running into and asking us how our day was and giving us tips for our stay and to the manager on call the nights, we were there named Sztella who addressed a hiccup we had during our stay and made it right. When service like that stands out our stay becomes even better and customers like me keep returning.
There are no balconies in the hotel rooms however, on every floor you have access to a balcony at the end of the hallway to change up your view.
Be mindful Orlando is a hot tourist place so choosing an off-season or a weekend that's less crowded could be ideal.
There is a daily resort fee + Self Parking fee
Ask the concierge -Hilton Orlando offers packages that many include discounted tickets to area theme parks
Children 5 and under will eat free with a paying adult at select restaurants so be sure to check.
Remember Hilton Orlando is centrally located on International Drive, the resort is three minutes from SeaWorld Orlando and Discovery Cove, seven minutes from Universal Orlando, and 15 minutes from Walt Disney World Theme Parks. They even offer shuttle service to Seaworld.
